This Privacy Policy as amended from time to time ("Privacy Policy") covers information collected from you through the Trendi.com website ("Service") located at www.Trendi.com ("Site"). Trendi.com ("Trendi.com," "we," "our" or "us") is a social networking service and shopping site that allows users to create unique personal profiles online in order to find and communicate with friends, share fashion and trends, and find products to rate and buy.

This Privacy Policy is part of the Site's Terms of Use. Your use of and/or registration on any aspect of the Site constitutes agreement to the terms and conditions of the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, whether you are a "Visitor" (which means that you simply browse the Site) or you are a "Member" (which means that you have registered with Trendi.com). "Visitors" and "Members" are referred to as "users," "you" or "your").



Information Collection and Use by Trendi.com

We collect the information that you provide to us, such as name, email address, and age at the time you register with the Site, or submit Content (as defined in the Terms of Use). We also collect additional optional profile data, including but not limited to personal interests, gender, education and occupation. We use personally identifiable information that users provide to us to authenticate users and to send notifications relating to the Service.

Trendi.com collects non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users of the Site. This data is used to manage the Site, track usage and improve the Services. Non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to users.

From time to time, Trendi.com or a partner may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on Trendi.com. In order to participate in such an event offered on the Site, you may be asked to provide personally identifiable information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions. We may collect or transfer such information to certain partners sponsoring such event or that you have explicitly requested to receive information from. Please note that this Privacy Policy is applicable only when you are using the Service at the Site. Children Under Age 13

The Site is not intended for users under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Service or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number or email address. Trendi.com does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from users under the age of 13. Such users are expressly prohibited from submitting their personally identifiable information to us, and from using our forums and chat areas; any information submitted by such users will not knowingly be used, posted, or retained by us.



Email Invitations and Communications

Member profile information including Members' pictures and first names are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the Trendi.com social networking community. Email addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join Trendi.com, to add users to Members' friends' networks, and to send notifications related to the Service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, your email address is not shared or displayed to others on the Site. Members communicate on Trendi.com without disclosing their email addresses. Members' full names are never directly revealed to other users. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the Site, we allow users to search for other Members using first and last name and email address.

Members can invite friends to join the service by sending invitation emails via our automated invitation system. Trendi.com stores the email addresses that Members provide so that the respondents may be added to the friend's list of the Member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations. Trendi.com does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and invitation reminders (up to three (3) per email address. Recipients of invitations from Trendi.com may contact Trendi.com at privacy@Trendi.com to request the removal of their information from our database.

Members may also store email addresses of people they know in their internal Trendi.com address book and may also choose to send invitations and other communications to those addresses.

You may prevent Trendi.com email invitations and other messages from being sent to any email address you control by sending a single email with the subject "BLOCK" to privacy@Trendi.com. Please note that the email must come from the account you wish to block.



Use of Cookies

Trendi.com uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information, for purposes including ensuring that visitors are not repeatedly offered the same advertisements and to customize newsletter, advertising, and Web page content based on browser type and user profile information. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our Site. You may be able to configure your browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. Each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences. Trendi.com contains links to other websites. Trendi.com is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other websites. When linking to another website you should read the privacy policy stated on that website. This Privacy Policy only governs information collected on Trendi.com.



Correcting/Updating or Removing Information

Members may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing features such as "Edit Profile" and "Account Info."



Email Choice/Opt-out

Members who no longer wish to receive updates or notifications from us may choose not to by logging into their account and selecting "Do not send me notification emails" under "Account Settings." Members who do not wish to receive Trendi.com newsletters may choose not to by logging into their account and selecting "Do not send me Trendi newsletters" under "Account Settings." All notification emails and Trendi.com newsletters also include the above instructions for opting-out of those communications in the future.



Security

Member accounts are secured by Member-created passwords. We use reasonable measures to protect Member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to Member information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that WE DO NOT GUARANTEE SECURITY. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of Member information at any time. YOU ASSUME THE RISK OF ANY INADEQUACY OR FAILURE OF SECURITY AND AGREE TO DO WHAT YOU REASONABLY CAN TO PROMOTE SECURITY (such as by guarding your password and changing it periodically).
