We are thrilled to have a new CEO at Trendi! Our current managing director, Lance Montgomery (pictured far left), is taking the leadership reins from our beloved co-founders, Craig McIntosh and Carissa Campeotto. But don’t worry, Craig and Carissa aren’t going anywhere – they will continue to represent Trendi on the world stage, as well as stay on as our founding board members.
“Carissa and I have been fortunate to realize our dreams of building a company that could make a difference in the world, and Trendi is definitely already making waves in the food waste industry and beyond,” says Craig. “In order to take the company to the next level, we are very excited to appoint Lance as our next CEO. His experience has been monumental in moving Trendi forward, and we look forward to continuing to work with him and our team of ‘misfits’ as co-founders and board members.”
As a self-proclaimed “swiss-army knife”, Lance’s career has reached all ends of technology, end-to-end marketing and sales. With more than 17 years of experience in the industry, he is no stranger to using technology to create a better world for everyone, either. Among many entrepreneurial projects, in 2017, he co-founded and developed the “HeyBryan” app and led it to being publicly traded.
“I am honoured to continue the legacy Craig and Carissa have already established for Trendi and continue its rise as a leader in the food tech industry,” says Lance. “We are here to offer sound and tangible solutions in combating food waste and feeding people, a global problem that only keeps getting worse. I look forward to continuing to share our ideas, our technology, and our passion in rescuing food with the world.”
